IT Specialist – Back-End

Remote (Portugal) | Full-time | English & Portuguese required

A combination of leading international firms in banking software, data, and credit risk analytics is launching a new technology based financial solution for the Iberian market. Backed by proven technology, funding, and global experience, this “startup in a box” will deliver a localized fintech offering tailored to regional needs.

We are now recruiting for the foundational team to drive execution across business and technology functions.


Role: Back-End Developer / IT Specialist

You will lead the technical implementation of the platform’s back-end infrastructure, ensuring integration with Open Banking providers, third-party APIs (e.g., cloud accounting tools), and secure data workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core back-end services

• Implement Open Banking and financial APIs

• Build secure, scalable architecture and data pipelines

• Support localization and compliance requirements


Requisitos mínimos

• 5+ years in back-end or full-stack development

• Experience with Open Banking APIs, financial data systems, or lending platforms

• Proficiency in API architecture, cloud environments, and security best practices

• Strong delivery mindset; able to work independently

• Fluent English and Portuguese
